CUPCAKE BANQUET!!

Great excitement after Patrick arrived home with Grandma Connie from Ireland.
It was time for a celebration, so that Bobby and Susie and Patrick and Ted could all have fun together. A cupcake party was planned, and everybody got to work, preparing the fabulous cakes.
Finally, all of the cupcakes were ready, and Sean and Fiona helped Patrick setting up the cupcake shop.

Fiona knows that it's lots of work to keep everyone happy, and making sure that everyone gets enough cake. It was very busy, and Bobby and Susie had a fabulous time with all the other teddies. Bobby ate as many cakes as he could, but Susie is watching her weight and didn't eat as many as Bobby. They thought it was more fun than America. They love being in Spain with their teddy cousins.
At the end of the day, everyone was tired after a good days work put in. It was a terrific cupcake party, and all the teddies enjoyed themselves very much. Bobby was feeling sick though, and we didn't know what was wrong with him.

Bobby at the Doctor's Office!!

So, after the great cupcake party, Bobby was feeling very sick. He had a tummy ache and was feeling dizzy. So, Patrick volunteered to take Bobby to the Doctor, to get him checked.


They were lucky to get an appointment with Doctor Pascual, a very friendly Doctor, who specializes in treating sick teddies. Ted and Froggy came too, as they already know Doctor Pascual, and they like him very much. We were all worried that Bobby was very sick.
So, Doctor Pascual took Bobby into the surgery for a full examination - Patrick stayed with Bobby in case he was afraid. Bobby is usually afraid of doctor's offices, because he doesn't have health insurance. He was surprised and relieved to hear that the doctor visit was free in Spain. Bobby thinks that Spain must be a fabulous place to live. He wondered if Susie and Uncle Bill might like to move there.


After the examination, Doctor Pascual figured out what was wrong. Bobby was a glutton and ate far too many cupcakes, and it made him sick. Doctor Pascual told Bobby that everything would be ok again tomorrow.

Welcome Home, Patrick

So, it was time for Patrick to arrive home from his week in Dublin with Grandma Connie.
Ted was the most excited to see Patrick.
When they arrived to the house, it was time for a pool party with Susie and Pinky, and Bobby and Froggie.





Everybody had a great time splashing in the pool, and the teddies took a long time to dry out afterward. But it was all worth it to celebrate Patrick arriving home again.
Ted was SO HAPPY that Patrick came home too.

SUSIE AND BOBBY ARRIVE IN BARCELONA

BOBBY AND SUSIE ARRIVED SAFELY.
They slept all the way, and didn't have time to eat the sweets that Uncle Bill put in the box with them. They were so excited to see their cousins again.
Susie couldn't wait to see PINKY, and they had the best time together with Fiona. (Fiona is Susie's best friend in Spain). And Froggy and Bobby and Sean were all glad to be together again.

Froggy was especially enthusiastic about the clothing-optional time with Bobby.

Bobby and Susie were exhausted when they arrived, so Pinky and Froggy made sure they got some sleep. While they were asleep, Sean and Fiona went to see SHREK 3 in the Olympic Village in Barcelona, and on the way home, they got dinner for everyone in MacDonalds. (Mac Donalds is Susie's favorite place to eat, but Bobby prefers Burger King)

And all the teddies were woken up for dinner.

Susie and Bobby couldn't believe that they were on the other side of the world, and that while they were having dinner, Uncle Bill was at work in his morning time in California, counting money at the bank.

Bobby couldn't wait to eat his hamburger, even though it wasn't Burger King, because he hadn't eaten since he left Los Angeles. He almost bit off Sean's fingers he was so hungry.

Susie's favorite food is Chicken MacNuggets, and Pinky likes them too. They had a wonderful dinner, and they screamed a lot about things that nobody else understood.

After dinner, it was time to play - the sun was still shining and it was the BEST DAY EVER!

Finally it was time to get ready for bed again.

However, this was the day that the GREAT SPANISH FOOTBALL TEAM were returning to Spain from South Africa, and everyone was excited to see them and witness a great moment of history. Susie and Bobby don't play football - they play tennis and basketball in Los Angeles. So, they didn't really understand what was going on, but Froggy explained everything to them.

Finally after a GREAT day, it was time to go to bed. Froggy and Bobby really enjoyed storytime with Sean. Bobby can't believe how nice Sean is - he is SO HAPPY that he came to Spain on his holidays.

And Fiona's story was SO GOOD that Susie couldn't go to sleep (unlike Pinky who always looks a little drugged-out) - it was the BEST way to go to sleep with her best friend, Fiona.

NICE WEDDING TODAY

Today Uncle Bill went to the wedding of Blanche and Mister White, who he knows from the tennis club. It was a white teddy occasion (Mister White's grandad was German from Utah, and he was very fond of keeping everything white), even though Uncle Bill is not exactly fully white, he was totally welcome anyway. They all had a wonderful time, and Uncle Bill drank an excellent Reisling with his dinner.

Uncle Bill was very busy counting money in the bank, so he asked Uncle Frank to bring the kids out to dinner at a friend's house. So, they all went to visit Sarah and Mister Pico, who live in the Hollywood Hills. Bobby always spots film stars jogging in the streets of the Hollywood Hills, and as usual he saw lots of famous teddies. Uncle Frank didn't recognize them, as he doesn't watch children's TV, generally.


After playing with Uncle Frank, they had a little sleep on the hammock in the garden, before dinner. It was heavenly.
After the nap on the hammock, they came inside, and played with Mister Pico, the Chihuahua, who to them, is as big as a cow is to humans. They like him because he doesn't chew their lovely faces. And then they had dinner, which was delicious.

The next day, they got ready to travel. Uncle Bill is sad to see the twins go away on holidays. But he is happy that they are going to visit their favorite people: Fiona and Pinkie, and Sean and Froggy. Uncle Bill knows Susie and Bobby will have a terrific time. And then Susie and Bobby are going to Ireland to visit Grandma Connie and Rover. How exciting is that???

Bobby and Susie can't wait to get to Europe (in fact, they wish that cheap Uncle Frank has paid extra for Priority Mail). Uncle Bill tucked them in, and they are now ready for a long, long sleep as they travel all the way across the world to Barcelona. He put some food in the box too (taking a tip from the documentaries he's seen on the National Geographic Channel about Pharoahs and the pyramids) in case they wake up and are hungry.

UNCLE BILL'S ONLY VICE

Uncle Bill thought it was time to get out of Los Angeles for a good ol' teddy trip.

So, they all got into the car, and Uncle Bill drove the twins to Las Vegas. It took 5 hours to drive there, because Uncle Bill drives under the speed limit. Susie and Bobby had never been here before and they were amazed the whole time.

They had a fabulous day running up and down the Vegas Strip, and Susie wanted her photo taken in front of the Barry Manilow Show, because she likes to sing romantic songs too.


Bobby and Susie absolutely loved Las Vegas, even though they were a bit too small to enjoy it properly. They saw a teddy wedding in the Very Little White Chapel, and Susie thought the bride was beautiful. Like a princess. Bobby loved the confetti and wanted to eat it.

Uncle Bill loves going to Las Vegas, because he wins lots of money playing teddy roulette. And because Bobby has a red shirt and because Uncle Bill has a black shirt, he bets
on black a little bit more than red, and wins lots of money. He finds the ladies to be exceptionally friendly in the casinos too, and he likes that. Sometimes people think he's a bit too fluffy, but he DEFINITELY likes the ladies.
